Preparing Community Participants & Lifelong Learning

Before the community can embark on wide scale development that will benefit the everyone, mindsets need to be changed from that of welfare and handouts, to that of taking on the responsibility of ones own development and accountability for ones actions, for long-term success in development programs. Participants need to acquire a vested interest in the outcome to ensure sustainability. To achieve this we partner with MyArmsWideOpen (MAWO) Warren Te Brugge, who has a proven successful program of moving the people forward in talking on the responsibility for their development.

Secondly, education is not a process restricted to children and young adults. It is a lifelong process and for community members to prosper facilities must be developed at local level and be accessible to all, young and old alike for their future mental and spiritual wellbeing.
