Primary Needs for Sustainable Development

Energy is a critical component in todays society for people to prosper, have access to knowledge, freedom of choice, develop economies, participate on an equal basis in the global arena, preserving nature and much more. A community without energy, cannot move forward or have access to beneficial technologies that can ease the pain and suffering of poverty in their lives.

Water is one of the essentials of life and for economic development equally so. Global statistic show that industry and enterprises account for approximately 20-24% of water consumption and as much as 30% where certain types of industry exist. It therefore becomes essential in development planning to determine the water supply for the sustainability of a community. Before long-term development planning can take place, water resources must me assessed and what methods can be used to increase local underground water aquifers synonymous with shortages in impoverished communities.
