Planned, Implemented, Evaluated, Monitored and Coordinated Projects

Community Development takes place at local level, usually with a few people working together to create a better life for themselves and those in their community. These organically initiated projects create an awareness within communities, where more people becoming curious and interested in participating and contributing to their development. As this process evolves it becomes necessary to develop a more inclusive plan that will benefit the whole community in a common vision, by providing the infrastructure, resources and methodology to prevent duplication of effort or necessitating the destruction of projects due the better use of locations and resources.

Therefore, for long-term sustainability to be achieved within communities, coordinated planning, implementation, evaluation and monitoring with a community run support structure needs to be developed, to ensure continuity and limit the unnecessary waste of time and resources.
